This is Kunal Handa aKa TechGeek from India. I have been photographing for a ALMOST 3 YEARS now; but I switched to manual from a year ago(loving it!); so I will count it as REAL   PHOTOGRAPHY AND SAY  A YEAR. Getting rid of the auto mode is also a challenge that I have overcome. Right now I'm in that phase where I just shoot anything around me.I use a NIKON D5600.
